Jacobi Nichols Whatley has worked as an Assistant District Attorney since graduating from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law in 2012. Graduated from East Central University in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science with highest honors. Worked for District 4 District Attorney’s Office (specifically Blaine, Canadian, Kingfisher Counties) prosecuting juvenile delinquent, deprived, youthful offender and domestic violence cases from 2012-2016. In July 2016, began working for the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office as the Domestic Violence Prosecutor. Currently prosecutes ½ of all domestic violence related cases in Cleveland County and was the 2016 Prosecutor of the Year for Excellence in Action Against Domestic Violence. Also teaches various trainings on domestic violence to other assistant district attorneys, law enforcement, DHS, and advocates. Lives in Norman, OK with husband, 3-year-old daughter, 1 year-old son.
